September brings the start of Cross season, cooler weather, more sun here in Monterey, and the annual trip to the desert to see all the new shiny bits from the bike industry. Interbike, the cycling industry trade show, begins next week in Vegas and we will be going to see the latest the bike industry has to offer.
One of my primary interests at the show is to see the latest in power meters and other training devices and there is a lot new this year. Garmin’s Vector is officially released, Cycleops has the new Powertap G3, Quarq is now officially part of SRAM and might have a mountain bike version available soon (pretty please!), and SRM has a few new models. There are always a few surprises at the show as well so who knows what else might be in store for us.
Beyond the latest in training devices, we will be on the look out for the coolest new bikes and gear each day at the show. Make sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook (you do “like” us on Facebook right?!) for the latest each day. I will also right up a review of the latest gear, interesting products, and other tidbits when we return.
